CCLP Worldwide – Nigeria is the Nigerian affiliate chapter of CCLP according to the Resolution passed by the International Council of CCLP Worldwide, with Resolution Number CCLP/00003/2009-2010, dated 9th May 2009.
CCLP Worldwide - Nigeria exists to promote the EDUCATION CHARTER INTERNATIONAL, comprising of three key global declarations;
UNESCO World Declaration on Higher Education for the 21st Century
- CCLP Worldwide Declaration of Higher Education for Sustainable Better Livelihood
- United Nations Global Compact Ten Principles on the four key areas of, LABOUR, ENVIRONMENT, HUMAN RIGHTS & ANTI-CORRUPTION.
The Education Charter is endorsed by citizens of 110 sovereign nations, more than 700 cities and 12,000 governmental, inter-governmental, non-governmental organizations and individuals across the globe. It is a registered NGO participant of United Nations Global Compact and has applied for Consultative Status with both United Nations Economic Council (ECOSOC) and UNESCO.
CCLP Worldwide has been admitted as full member of both the Indian and Nigeria Networks of the UN Global Compact and the Conference of Non-governmental organizations.
CCLP Worldwide has been admitted as Global NGO Participants of UN Global Compact from four Countries- Nigeria, India, Germany and Ghana

CCLP Worldwide - Nigeria has adopted United Nations Global Compact's ten principles in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment & anti-corruption. It has been registered as NGO participant of United Nations Global compact with effect from 2009.
